Our busy lives..............

keeps us going! John is keeping very busy with private practice. He loves his job! He is also enjoying his part time emplyment with LDS Family services. It has been such a blessing to work with wonderful people. He has gotten to do trainings for stake presidents and bishops and he loves that too. He got to go on the father and son campout last weekend with his brother in law and nephews. He had a great time.
I have been keeping busy with the girls. I have also started a daily workout again, it feels so good to get out and do something for ME. I also have been trying to eat better. I'm trying to get back down to where I was before I had my little angel Mackenzie. I recently read the book " Running with Angels," written by Pamela Hansen. This book was very inspirational and motivating. It was a great book about a woman who struggled with weight loss and then she had a goal of someday running a marathon. Its a great read! I'm trying to read more. Right now I'm working on finishing The Peacegiver by James L Ferrell. So far I'm enjoying this book too. Mackenzie is growing so fast and she is so sweet. She is waving bye bye and she loves to say da da. She is rolling to get where she wants to go. She gets up on her knees, but just rocks back and forth. Courtney is working on counting and colors. She does good. Her favorite color is green for now..........maybe it will be purple tomorrow.
Rowena is finishing up 5th grade....only 2 more weeks and then my oldest will be heading to middle school this fall. I can't believe she is making this step...........time flys! Brook will be going into 3rd grade starting in July. She will be doing the year around school until 6th grade. I'm trying to have a positive attitude about year around track, but it is very hard. Rowena and Brook will be on totally different school schedules starting this fall. The 3 older girls start swimming lessons this saturday. We are looking forward to this. Thats all for now.....until next time.

It sounds like you guys are keeping busy! I am so glad that John is enjoying his pracitce. I don't think I would like year round school either. How come only Brook will be on year round and not Rowena? Next time warn us about the SPIDERS!!

That would be so hard to have kids on different schedules! How come they don't streamline them? It seems like that would be hard on families. I've read both the books you listed--excellent. I think the Peacegiver was one of the best books I've ever read! So glad that the business is going well, and everything else! I miss you!
