This is my best friend Nicole and her husband Lew. They came to visit for a few days on their way through from Texas to Utah. We had a great time. Nicole and I took the kids to the Wilflife Experience and out for Ice cream at Cold Stone (MMMM Yummy!) Then the next day we went to Mount Evans this mountain is the highest mountain with a paved road all the way to the top. We drove it all the way to the top over 14,000 feet. I didn't realive just how scared of heights I was until we climed this mountain and all you could see in some spots were drop offs. It was something when we got to the top. The view was beautiful with some of the lakes we past. It was very cold at the top and some of us was feeling ill from the elevation. On the way back down we got to see a gorgeous sunset and a herd of elk. I really enjoyed my visit with Nicole and her family. I met Nicole while John was in grad school in Bozeman Montana and we have kept in touch all these years. We are very close friends and I am so thankful for her friendship.
