Update

I have been posting a lot of pictures of my baby. I will be posting some more pictues of all the girls soon. We have been having a lot of fun here in Colorado. I love it! Fall is here and the colors are so beautiful. We took a drive one sunday afternoon to see some Aspen, oh the colors are so gorgeious.
John is finishing up his 3rd phase one group. They will then have 5 phase 2 groups running. They will start up another phase one group in January after the holidays. He really loves private practice. It's hard to believe sometimes that DREAMS come true when you keep working hard and just take one step at a time. It is nice he has been having 3 day weekends since we have moved here and I love it. Mon-Thu he works, Mon- evening hours, Tue- He leaves at 9 am and gets home at 9:30pm Wed- He leaves between 8am and 9 am and gets home at 9:30 pm Thu- He leaves at 8am and gets home at 9:30 pm, so by friday I am so ready for him to be home. And we only have one car so I walk everywhere when he is gone. He is working so hard. We are working on getting a 2nd car.
I am doing great! I feel great too! I have been working hard on getting to my goal weight. I am only 9lbs away. I am almost down to my goal size too, only one more to go. My family from Nebraska came to visit. It was so nice to see all of them. My Aunt was going back to Oregon for about 6 months, so she stopped by on her way through and spent a week with me. Her two daughters and their kids came too. We had a total of 15 people staying here in our 3 bedroom apartment. It was cramped but we had a good time together and we managed it well. I volunteer one day a week at Brook's school and I love that time with her and the other kids. She has a wonderful teacher. Tomorrow I am going to TOFW-Time Out For Women. My sister in law and I are leaving for this together and getting a hotel for the night. It is Fiday night and all day Saturday. I am so excited! One of the people that inspired me to get healthy again is going to be there. "Running with Angels," by Pamela Hansen. And my favorite author Dean Hughes is going to be there too. My good friend Becky T. gave me some of his books and I loved them so much I got the rest to the series the Children of the Promise. When I finished that series I had to read the Hearts of the Children. I only have 2 more left to the series. He is a great author.
Recently I read "I Am A Mother" by Jane Clayson Johnson I would recommend this book to all my friends and family. This is a good read and a very good reminder of how important it is to be A MOTHER. I am so thankful that my job is to be A MOTHER. I am thankful for the opportunity my Heavenly Father has given me to BE A MOTHER. I am thankful for all my daughters and I hope I am teaching them and raising them so they know the importance of being A MOTHER.
Rowena is doing great in 6th grade. She is in Math League. Every Monday she stays after school and practices math for her competitions. Once a month they go to other schools and compete. She is doing good in all her studies.
Brook loves 3rd grade and is doing well. She got put in the High reading group and she loves it. She has made good friends and loves playing with them.
Courtney favorite is Dora. She loves to go to the park and play. She also loves to read.
Mackenzie is starting to stand up to furniture. She is having a very hard time cutting her teeth. She is weaned now and drinks from a sippy cup. She is the only one of my babies that I was able to nurse full time to 1 year old. I am so thankful for this opportunity I had with my last baby. It saved us a ton of money on formula.
As I watch my girls grow, I wish I could pause time sometimes. The time goes by way too fast.
I am so thankful for all of my wonderful family and all of my great friends all of you have touch the Hess Family one way or another and I am so thankful for the time I have had with all of you. Thank you for keeping in touch with us and we miss all of you so much!
