Hats and Having fun...in the dirt

Mackenzie is such a cutie and so much fun. She found this hat today and kept putting it on and taking it off and she looked so darn cute I had to take a picture. The other two pictures were taken on Labor day at our picnic with the Hess Family. She had a ball picking up all the rocks in the dirt.

She healed up well from the spider bite.

Courtney and I have been doing preschool together and she is doing so well and she loves it! We work on a nuber and a letter each week. She is also learning how to spell her name. This week we are working on the number 3 and the letter C. She is learning upper case, lower case, and the sounds of the letters. Each day we do the alphabet together and count to 20 together. After she gets writing her name completely down we will work on tieing her shoes. She starts kindergarten in the spring, so I want to make sure she is ready for school.

Brook is doing great in 4th grade. She already recieved her Gold Award for Reading Counts, so now she is continuing to read to see how many points she can get by the end of the year.

Rowena started 7th grade a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe I have a 12 year old, it just doesn't seem possible. She is enjoying school and we enjoyed the open house bbq at the school last week. We got to meet all of her teachers. Last year Rowena took sign language and this year she is taking french. She is really enjoying learning different languages.
