Serving Others

I just wanted to post this today because it really touched my heart. Yesterday we got a nice snow storm and boy was it cold, so I went out to shovel the driveway after I picked up the girls from school. I had been shoveling for about 5 minutes and then I needed to run in the house and put some gloves on because it was so cold, 16 degrees. While I was in the house getting the gloves Brook looked out the window and said "Who are those guys?" I opened the door and there were three teenage boys shoveling our driveway for us. I ran out and joined them in finishing it up. They said they would take care of it, but I had a great time visiting with them while shoveling. Wow, those boys are great examples of service. They were shoveling several peoples driveways in the neighborhood and also their own. I really live in a great neighborhood and those kids are awesome!

That's so great!!! I know that wherever I didn't have layers, my skin was red and my fingers were COLD!!! I'm definitely glad it's warmer today!

Wow, that is so great! I have been amazed at how much people really do care about helping other people lately!
