We had the time of our lives...

SNOWMOBILING!!!
Yesterday we had a wonderful day with just the two of us and some friends. We had the opportunity to go snowmobiling for the first time in our lives and it was AWESOME! I can't wait until we can do it again. We went on a guided tour and we both had our own snowmobiles to drive. I was so scared at first, but it didn't take long to get the hang of it. As a child we always had go-carts and motorcycles to drive around our track at home that dad made for us, so all those memories came flooding back as I figured out how to drive my own snowmobile.

The scenery was amazing!!!
I had my own snowmobile, but we wanted a photo of the two of us
This is the ranch that we went too...AWESOME...cobbler and hot cocoa awaited.

We had to get this shot of us in all the gear
I was definately out of my comfort zone as we came upon a steep embankment and had to go down, but I managed and I was still in one piece. This day was amazing for the two of us and I'm so thankful for this opportunity we had. It was so worth the 6 A.M. alarm clock to go spend the day in the beautiful mountains with my sweetie. And it was peaceful and I can't wait for the next time to do this together again as a family with the girls. We got home late in the afternoon and then took a nap and went to the Adult session of Stake Conference and it was so wonderful with all the messages shared. A great reminder of the things we need to do to strengthen our families. We had a fun and busy day :)

I used to have tons of fun snowmobiling in WI. One time I even flipped the snowmobile on top of me. The only problem was that I couldn't get it off and I had to wait until the rest of the gang realized I wasn't behind them. hehehehe lots of fun
